Vae’s Journey
Hey everyone! Welcome to my corner of the internet. I'm beyond excited to embark on this blogging journey with each and every one of you. My name is Avaé Liyah, a 24-year-old dreamer with a heart full of stories to share. You might be wondering what led me here, so allow me to introduce myself a bit more.
I'm a proud alumna of NC State University, where I delved into the world of creativity and expression by pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Fashion and Textiles Design. My concentration was textiles, as creativity has always held a special place in my heart. Growing up in Raleigh, North Carolina, I've soaked in the Southern charm, but I've also been blessed with family roots stretching across both sunny California and vibrant Philadelphia.
So, why the leap into the world of blogging, you ask? Well, life has been quite interesting for me over the course of years – a journey filled with challenges and excitement. And that's exactly why I felt the urge to start this blog. I believe that sharing our stories, especially the moments that shape us, can be a powerful way to connect and uplift one another. If my experiences, my learnings, and my growth can resonate with just one person out there, then this journey will be more than worthwhile.
I want this to be a safe haven, a space where everyone is welcomed with open arms and open hearts. I'm here to dive deep into matters that matter – from health struggles that have tested my strength, to the hurdles life threw my way, and the victories that followed. I hope this won't be a space for my trauma dumping but a place where we can reflect, share, and heal together.
Now, let's get one thing straight: I'm not a professional writer or a seasoned blogger. This is a journey of authenticity, a canvas where I paint my thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Think of it as an online diary, a collection of moments and insights that I'm thrilled to share.
So, buckle up, dear readers, as we embark on this journey together to grow and connect. I invite you to join me on this path of vulnerability and strength. Let's take this leap with the intention to inspire and uplift.
